The Museum of Contemporary Art in Shanghai (MOCA Shanghai) is the first private museum of contemporary art in Shanghai founded by the Samuel Kung Foundation.
Located in the People's Park, the museum is surrounded by other cultural buildings such as the prestigious Grand Theatre of Shanghai and the Shanghai Art Museum. MOCA's purpose is to promote Chinese and international contemporary art.
